Torgnon is situated in a beautiful position: at an altitude of 1500 m on the right orographic side of the Valtournanche Valley. Its 22 fractions lay on a wide, sunny morenic terrace, which is why the "Torgnoleins" describe Torgnon in their songs as "the most beautiful place of the valley" and why tourists call it "the village of the sun".
